CASology JUMP!!!!

Hi lovely crafty friends, yes, I'm back again I'm afraid :D This time with a card for CASology where the word is JUMP, what a great cue word, really imaginative. Here is my card

My dog stamp was too large to keep the design CAS so I stamped him off the page, reducing his impact, and giving me a more equal visual triangle. I think it worked but I wonder what he did to the cat ?  Gay x

Old stamps, Dog and text from Stamps by Judith and cat stamp All Night Media Scaredy Cat 519E
Inktense water colour pencils and Copic shadows.

One layer Simplicity new challenge :D

OOh happy day :D Two posts in one day, I must be loosing it :D (Yeah I know you know that already, no need to titter ) LOL
Anyway, One Layer Wednesday has been revamped and has now become One-Layer Simplicity just in case you weren't aware, I have been out of the loop for a while and have missed lots!!
This time it's Heather's turn to host and she challenged us to

Make a card which features something repeated. It could be an image or a sentiment. Just remember to keep embellishments to a minimum.

This card uses Chocolate Baroque's new stamps 'Mackintosh Windows' and a Printworks sentiment that is very old called 'Great Birthday'
I stamped and then added some sponged ( distress ink  'Peacock Feathers' ) circles through a stencil, with Sakura gel pen highlights DONE !! Loads of fun!!!

And so I made another
Same stamps but the double stamped 'Happy' qualifies for repeated stamping methinks.
More gel glitter for the pods, not sure you can see but it's there.
It's so good to be back stamping and sharing again especially with this great revamped challenge to compete in. Thank you so much Susan and the rest of the team :D Have a great day, Gay x

Masculine for LIM

Hi Folks, Welcome!
Today I have a card for LIM
where the challenge is for a CAS Masculine card, okay dokay I'm up for that

Simple stamping and a few of Tim Holtz's Remnant Rubs 'Words', very useful. The top picture I felt was needing a little explanation so I added some more of the travel text. Cards for men are a challenge :D
What a remarkable difference a sunny day makes to the photos, yesterday's pic is so much brighter! My Ottlight bulb has blown so I'm waiting for a replacement, couldn't see a thing last night LOL Hope it arrives soon!

The compass stamp is from Glitz, pretty old but I do like it, the distress ink is crushed olive another of my favourites. The circular stamp is from Artemio.

Lovely to see you :D hugs Gay x

Helloooooo :D

Hi my lovely crafty friends :D

I have a quick card for two of my favourite challenges....................... LIM and CASology

The challenge over at LIM is One Layer and 'Anything goes', just my kind of challenge :D And over at CASology the cue word  is BOLD. The young lady's dress is quite a bold colour I think, for her time anyway:D
I was sad that I missed Less is More's third birthday celebrations last week, Congratulations on your three wonderful years, Chrissie, Mandi and Jen !!!!! Here's to many more fabulous years!

For my card I simply stamped, masked and a little platinum stickles applied!

My stamps are Graphic 45 'Couture 3' by Hampton Art.

I hope I find you well?
Things around the UK are fragile, folks struggling with flooding and transport troubles, not much fun! We need a little let up with the storms! My heart goes out to all who have water in their homes, fields and businesses, it must be absolutely soul destroying.

I am feeling much better after our trip! A change of scenery really brightens me. We had just over two weeks in Florida and although it was cool (temperatures) by Florida's standards, it was really great for us. America has such a positive vibe! IMHO
We saw Alligators galore, Turtles, Dolphins and so many beautiful sea birds.

!!!! Warning,,,, Holiday Snaps !!!!!, you may certainly skip this bit :D

This little chap was outside our house LOL How cute is that!! Look at the lovely neat grass, there are strict rules about the length apparently, (she raises her eyebrows,) I wonder how that would work here :D

An Alligator close up and a Dolphin following the catamaran we rode, woohooo!!!

A Horseshoe crab (an ancient survivor) and an Osprey that we nearly interrupted with a juicy fish meal
I hope you didn't mind me sharing my pics, it was such a lovely change from the dull grey days here.

Thank you for stopping by :D Hugs Gay x
