Had a play with this new stamp, A Unity stamp by Suzi Blu( click on the link to be taken to Make the Day Special, where I bought it!) I saw it first and got inspiration from, Kim Dellow's page, she does some pretty cool stuff:D
Then I was visiting my lovely Chris and she inspired me to create the middle of my card, so I've been totally inspired by my blogging buddies, Thank You girls:D
The papers are Prima, Fairy flora that I got at Craft Obsessions.
I couldn't decide which background worked so I did three, the light is not good this morning but the flash totally drained the colour. What do you think? I'd love to hear because Hubby's fed up with me asking:} Actually I don't blame him, like most of us, I'm a little bit obsessed:}
I'd like to enter this for the Sir Stampalot challenge, All Distressed.
p.s. my name's not Debbie:D x

Oh my Debbie, this really is rather special.
ReplyDeleteThe image is lovely and the way you have created the turned back aperture she has a real mystical feel to her.

ReplyDeleteits fun having a good old tear, I am quite into it now I have started.
back soon with love chris xx
Wowee this is just fabulous, I adore this card with its many layers and tatters, just brilliant. xx
ReplyDeletegorgeous card! love that stamp.
ReplyDeletein answer to your question. I have only used the twig stamp and the quote off that plate so far, but I do like the others. I like the little star.
I actually prefer this plate to 1009. I do find with plates that there are always some that you never use. it's a shame really.
Gorgeous card, love all the ripping, folding and eyelets. Thanks for joining us at Sir Stampalot.

I think she is beautiful..and the whole card too for that matter...a lot of shabby, distressed yummyness..Esther xx
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, it's a bit funny that people have suddenly started calling you Debbie! I think it started in your last post and I'm not sure where that came from? LOL
ReplyDeleteYour card is STUNNING! I love all the distressing, and the torn out window with the corners tacked down with eyelets. My favourite photo is the third one with the teal in the background. It picks up on the light blue-greens on your card!
Beautiful card - love the aperture design, it really sets off the main image (which is gorgeous)! All 3 photos look fab. but the detail on the bottom picture seems slightly clearer (to my dodgy eyes)!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting and Following - have a great week, Sylvia xx
Fab stamp and I love what you have done with it. Thanks for popping over to my blog
