Hi Crafty Friends:0)
I hope you've had a lovely week so far? I shall be quite glad when this week is over it hasn't been my best!!!
I made an ATC for the Stampotique Designers Challenge. My little beauty is climbing off the ATC, she wants to get free
She almost managed too, look off she goes, cheeky monkey LOL
This little one was a delight to make, I stamped her on white card and cut her out, painted her with my Lyra Aquacolours. It's 'Relaxin' !!
She's normally sitting taking it easy but I gave her legs, a bow and a new skirt from 'Gooseneck' The winder on her back is her umbrella and she was itching to go!
I used a Crafters Workshop template for the words and highlighted the words 'Beauty' and 'Art' with Perfect Pearls mica powder.
The background is sprayed with Dylusions ink, fabby colours but I'm going to be careful to shield her from the sunshine. remember this card? I was so pleased that it was showcased at Less is more, Oh Yay!!!
Well now it looks rather different, after leaving it on the window sill it's all bleached I'm going to have to paint it again, beware of this effect painty people.
Right I'm off I have so many makes that I'm behind with, I might be creating all night, oooh wouldn't that be fun!!
Thank you for dropping in and check out the Stampotique Designers Challenge there are some lovely ATC's there:0)
Love her, Gay. She's really funky. You have some wonderful ink and die colours, and you always combine them perfectly. I have never seen Dylusions before, but they look amazing...love the gold embossed edge, too x

ReplyDeleteFantastic ATC Gay, so many different mediums and techniques! As you know I'm not a fan of Stampotique but I love her:) Her legs look as if they are going to move any minute and I love the gold embossing. What a shame about your tulips I hope you can rescue them they were gorgeous:) Didn't we do well that week!

This is a brilliant quirky ATC Gay - love the way the legs are dangling over the edge. Fab. colours, but what a shame about the Dylusions being light-sensitive.
ReplyDeleteCongrats. on being Showcased (AGAIN)!!!
Hope your week is improving - take care, Sylvia xx
Oh my goodness girly. What a fabulous ATC. I just love everything about it. But most of all I love the fun colors.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Gorgeous, Gay - absolutely love everything about this one. Shame about the colours but that's why I much prefer pigment and permanent inks in the long run - they don't fade as all water based inks do and Ranger inks do seem to be the worst!
