I have been making cards, that always makes me smile :0) Chrissy and Mandi, the lovely Divas over at LIM have asked us to make a card with a theme and that is all about ovals this week. So to my card.......................
This is a masked panel that has been stamped and the coloured, I punched an oval, stamped the sentiment and then embossed around it. You can just make it out in this photo. One of my messed up cards ( yes after all these years I still make huge mistakes LOL) came in handy for the oval at the base and I was pleased when the pattern matched up to give a nice swirl. The stamp is from WOW and is designed so that the swirls are left out of the ink which was perfect to add distress colours to.
I first stamped in black.

Beautiful card Gay ! I love 'negative' flourish image and how you have used it, along with your colours. So cool that the swirl in the oval matches ! I hope all is well, we are enjoying cooler weather, so I'm trying to get on top of the gardening. Not sure if I'll actually get it all finished this Fall. Cheers, Shirleyxx
