This is the inspiration photograph for this week
the link will take you to the challenge :D
Looks like a giant 'P' it doesn't in real life, I had trouble getting the light and dark elements to show , so used different backgrounds neither really show what it looks like IRL, never mind :D
The lovely lace is a gift from my wonderful friend Gio in Rome, check out her fab creations on her blog!!!
Then I made a second card this time I got a little carried away a little arty shall we say :D
I hope it's not too random LOL I enjoyed letting loose with the design though!
Thank you for stopping by,:D Gay x
If you would like to know what I used, leave a comment and I will add it for you :D Have a great week people!
Added for WhyDucks and anyone who would like an explanation, I hope this helps :D
The second card,
The brushes were stamped across the bottom of the card in brown ink then I sponged some yellow along the centre. On another small square piece of paper I stamped and inked the brushes again, crumpling and inking to get a really used look. On top of all that I stamped onto a small strip of card the letters ART! The strip of card I glued down over both paper and card adding a small embellishment to finish.
I used
Tim Holtz stamps Artful Tools
Craftwork cards clear stamps, for the art word
Two fabulous cards, Gay! Something a little different and very creative techniques. Sue x
ReplyDeleteNow I didn't see the P until you mentioned it! Still like the card regardless . . . but that second "let loose and arty" one is just FAB. I love it!
