Fabulous weather here in the UK today, warm unbroken sunshine we're full of smiles :D I hope you're getting some (smiles and good weather) too :D
So, my card for Less is More was easy, a one layer card with Spring Flowers, that's the order of the week, so I have Bluebells. I thoroughly enjoyed getting inky today.
There is no sentiment, perhaps I'll fill that in later, hopefully this card could be any sort of greeting. I masked off with two post it notes, and using a torn piece of paper, inked the background. Adding white, yellow and green spots to give the impression of a meadow. The bluebells were coloured with the vivid blue and Marvy in light olive.
I used
Stamps by Local King
Crafty Individuals ( trees) and Tim Holtz ( splatter from Bitty Grunge)
Distress inks and Vivid (mini) in Sky Blue
A little catch up at home here...
Hubby and I are on a House of Cards fest ATM, every night one or two episodes, it's from Netflix. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are very good in it but play ruthless characters, we are really enjoying all the intrigue! We have to pause it quite a lot and help each other remember all the manoeuvrings behind the scenes, I guess there's a lot of poetic license here (I hope there is!!!)
Lovely to see you :D Drop by again soon, hugs Gay x

Hi Gay, it's been a while since I got to pop round for a visit. Just saw you over at Shirley's, so could grab the link & zoom over. Loving this beautiful scene you've created as a one layer. It's beautiful & serene. Definitely says spring. I haven't caught the Netflix House of Cards yet, have gotten too hooked on Doc Martin & Midsomer Murders (both of which I've seen, but enjoy rewatching so much, cause I like the main characters!) TFS & Hugs.

Wow, this really would be beautiful framed! Why isn't Spring here in NC yet?
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone about the sentiment, leave it, this is worthy of framing and perhaps the recipient would like to do just that. It is GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteDidn't fancy House of Cards, but you make it seem it may even be worthwhile taking a peep.
Have a great week
