LIM 54 Crikey! One layer and Stripes!

Hi folks, After a weekend with hardly any internet I'm so happy to be back up and running today. I hope your weekend was a good one?

It was so sad this weekend to learn of Whitney Houston's untimely death, the world is a poorer place without her fabulous singing. We are loosing so many of our shining talents.

I have made a card for the LIM 54Challenge which this week is for a one layer card withstripes.
I thought you might like to see how it was masked to achieve this stripy look so I included the photos of the process, The image was stamped in two colours of Versafine, Onyx black and vintage Sepia and then more depth of colour with copics.

A card for a chap, I'm practising and by golly I need it LOL Men's cards are difficult for me. Hope you have a great day, TTFN xx
I used:
Stamp by Paper Artsy, Gentleman plate 1
Stripes stamp by Impression Obsession, Thin Stripes Cover a Card

  10. Great card Gay. Love the background stripes, and the gentleman stamp is awesome. Think I will have to get some masculine stamps. I know what you mean about 'Men's' cards. I have 4 to make for end of week, they don't want footie, darts, sport of any kind, and nothing cute. Oh and they want 8" square cards and they are all going to the same person! Thinking cap on for this one.

  30. Hi Gay

Yes, I think most of us find cards for chaps much more challenging. Probably because we don't buy much stash with them in mind LOL!!!

Your project here is amazing though .. .. I love it.
