A very quick OLW card

I'm sooo late for this one but I have been pretty busy, well that's my excuse anyway!!

Susan over at Simplicity challenged us nearly a week ago to make a card with stars and stripes, in honour of American Independance day. I have made a card with somes stripes and a star,


I did a little research online to find out about hearts and wings and found a website, a tattoist actually but it made some sense of the symbolism involved if you're interested HERE

I used
Heart and wings stamp from 7 Gypsies
Tim Holtz stripes
copics and distress to colour
at

    Gay - you always manage to "think outside the box", and come up with something spectacular, and you have done it again with this amazing design.

    Wonderful card, Gay! Love that the star is itty bitty and the stripes just draw the eye up to that itty bitty star!

    That is excellent use of the stripes. They give the card amazing perspective and feels 3-dimensional. Fab card.
