A milestone birthday
For my grandaughter an eighth birthday is a milestone, not for everyone I know but I think, till you get to double figures (which takes an absolute age ) then birthdays become less remarkable. So when this challenge went up at Stampotique I took the opportunity to make her a card
This week Kathi is our hostess and she is taking us to a scary place, Milestone Birthday or Anniversaries Here is what she says about this challenge
"21, 25, 50, 60th Birthday or Anniversary -- It's time to celebrate! Let's see a project that celebrates those sometimes scary milestones of life!"
I used Roc's Horse and coloured with Copics, sentiment by W+9 sparkle and shine.
Thank you for your kind comments and for visiting me :D Gay xx

Just two stamps?
Woah that's a challenge alright. Over at the Stampotique designer's Challenge
Nellie is our hostess this week and she is asking us to "Use only two stamps" Here is what Nellie says about this challenge:
I tend to use a lot of stamps when I create something. Thought I might
challenge myself and all of you by limiting the number of stamps. So no
more than two stamps please!
Hi there folks, this is my card
I used Schmurfy he is just so cute, clean and simple, my preferred style. I used copics and a sentiment from Wplus9 Sparkle and Shine!
Thanks for dropping by Gay x

Primary colours
Back again and so soon :D
Today I have a card for the Stampotique challenge
Take 2 of the 3
primary colours (and the colours that they create when mixed) and just
use these on your creation. You can also use black and white if you
like. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create.
My chosen colours were red and yellow and just a pinch of blue for his book! I used Newton from Stampotique
I found the quote on Pinterest but can't find who to attribute it to, it seems to be true for me though, a good book leaves it's mark :D Thank you for joining me today Hugs Gay x

Shabby Chic
Hello, it's been a while but I have a couple of ATC's that I made for the Stampotique ATC trade on Facebook that I would like to share. It is loads of fun creating a small piece of artwork and takes much longer than you would think!
Well the first is shabby chic. This next is an all together different kettle of fish!
She looks a challenge, her name is Nether and I think it suits her very well. All stamps from Stampotique
Hope that life has been good to you in my absence and hope to be back with more to share soon :D Gay x
