Polkas..................

Hello again, This week at LIM the challenge is to include
POLKA DOTS
We don't need to see a whole card full of them, remember to keep it simple, but we'd like a little evidence of them somewhere!
So here is my offering
A Unity stamp that has a few religious sayings with it, that's great but sometimes you just want to tell it like it is, right?
Anyway thank you for dropping by, Gay x
p.s. Who else had way too much chocolate? Phew .............we're over it all here LOL x

Clean and simple again :D

Hi there, Today I decided it's about time I got my inks out again and a CAS card will do it for me everytime. Luckily both LIM and Addicted to CAS prompts fit with my cards
At LIM
Your recipe for this week is to show us
What's outside your window

(you can use your imagination & dreams!)

I made two cards with the same stamp, it's a Penny Black one.

 And at Addicted to CAS

This version has a rub on Fairy and butterfly. I used my Marvey waterbased pens (straight on the stamp)  which had gone dry but I gave them a bit of moisture with Tim Holtz's Distress Refresher, that seemed to do the trick, all nice and juicy again.

I hope you like my cards and thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful time this holiday weekend, Hugs Gay x

Quick card........................

I'm baaack!! The challenge this week at Stampotique

Today we have a new challenge for you, our hostess is Sue Davies and she is challenging us to a "Time Challenge", to make something in 30 minutes or less.
That's a toughie!!
Here is what Sue says about this challenge:
"We can sometimes get caught up in making big production pieces. My challenge to you this week is to make something in 30 minutes or less (not including time taken to gather your supplies) I look forward to seeing what you create.

 And here is my card

and sideways because I just managed to get a minute to cut out another wing.................

Now for me that really is a challenge and a half, I have been known to take all day or even longer to make a card so this well LOL!

So I decided to go super simple and concentrate on the rainbow colours on Bard the main focal point as I was going to use the 'I can sing a rainbow' sentiment BUT then I thought halfway through my 30 mins I decided to use the 'Just keep on keeping on' thinking it is more in keeping with the Bard!
I took the whole 30minutes too!
I hope you like it :D Thank you for dropping by, Hugs Gay xx

Squares for Stampotique

Hi Folks, A card for the Stampotique challenge
This week Corrie is our hostess and her challenge is all about Squares, "Use Squares in any form or material on your project"
Here is what Corrie says about this challenge:
"I am very fond of circles in my work, so I want to get outside my comfort zone and use squares for a change and I would like you to join me. Have Fun!!"
So I took Leeta  and stamped her onto card, then coloured her with Copics and punched her out with a square punch. Raising up with foam pads some of the squares gave my card a little more dimension!
Thank you for joining me here today, have fun,  Gay x
