Less is More.... one layer ;-D
Hi there, I hope all is good with you? We have been spoiled lately with wonderful weather but it's raining on and off today so I decided to have a crafty afternoon, it's good to be playing again!
So I just wanted to share my quick card for LIM where this week the challenge is to make a one layer card with a coloured base. I chose black!
Edited: I made a silly mistake and 'black' is not on the coloured card list duh!! silly me!!
This could be quite a tricky challenge, working with a dark base you have to be able to make a lighter image, luckily I have a great ink pad > Brilliance, moonlight white :D
I used a mask and inked through it and coloured with various Copic pens
Thank you for dropping by, I hope you have a great weekend, hugs Gay x
Supplies:D I bought mine from the Craft Barn
Imagination Crafts, Dragonflies Poppies mask
Moonlight White Brilliance ink pad
White pen

The best kind of friend!!
Hello there my lovely crafty friends, Today I have a card, mainly for you my lovely supportive and understanding friends. I would love to thank you all for your kind comments on my last posts.
So many wonderful insights and what a relief. I gathered from your comments, that many of you feel the same as I do from time to time. You all seem to have slightly different ways of relieving the pressure. Sandra's idea was to cut down on posting, yup! that's a good one and many of you agreed with her as do I! Suze was correct, I think, in saying that it's only polite to return the compliment of a comment, I agree wholeheartedly. Hence my dilemma!!
Darnell wrote with such passion, what a sweetie!! :D You all made me feel so much better.
So I think I will cut back and post less frequently. The only trouble with that is I love making my cards and each post will probably be so picture heavy it'll take an age just to get through LOL but it's not going to stop me blogging, just yet.
I also have to thank you all for your sympathy after our burglary, it affected me much more than I'd expected but that gets better everyday, after all it was only things that went missing, I still have the memories. The house is like Fort Knox now. Goodness knows how I'm going to get the hang of the alarm, I've only had to put it on once so far and it went off when I tried to get back in the house, I'm useless LOL !! My ears rang for hours afterwards LOL
This little card is another version that I'm sharing for OLW where the challenge is to make a one layer card for spring.
Thank you again for visiting and sharing your thoughts, hugs to all, Gay xx
I used
Crafters Wopkshop masks, Mini Entrelac and Mini Cornflowers,
Stamps are CAS-UAL Fridays, Only You.
Don't forget and I'm sorry I am a bit late with this info but it's free P&P over at the Craft Barn Website this weekend, the link is on the free postage words!!!

P.S.
It's been a while since I blogged, I haven't been doing much commenting either, sorry folks. Real life gets in my head and takes over. I find it gets a little overwhelming sitting at the computer for hours, I'm sure you all have the same problem.
I always had a rule to get back and visit everyone who was kind enough to visit and leave me a comment but it seems I spend more time on the computer than making my craft and that makes me sad.
If anyone has a magic formula I would love to hear it. I really love hearing from everyone it makes sharing so much more rewarding, I am fed up with the guilt though! So this leaves me with a dilemma, I love visiting my lovely crafty friends and commenting when I can but how do I decide who I reply to?
This is why I haven't replied to anyone and this is my guilt! Every comment is a lovely crafter who has taken time out of their busy lives to kindly leave a comment about my paltry attempts at a little bit of art. Each comment gives a lovely lift so I know how important it is to reply. HELP, how do you choose who to reply to but keep blogging manageable?
Thank you so much for visiting, hugs Gay xx
