Right let's have another go LOL

Hi again folks I'm having another bash at LIM.  This week the challenge is to have foliage on your one layer card and over at Simplicity the challenge is to make a gratitude card, here goes

I had a couple of attempts with this Clarity Vine stamp.  The first is my favourite, it doesn't come much more simple, stamped in olive distress, a little bright yellow copic and a Hot off the Press sentiment in black.

This has a PTI sentiment but I spent some time colouring and adding mica powders but I don't like it very much :{
Thanks for dropping by and I'll be around to see you soon, hugs Gay x

just love the way you have used this stamp, the first one is fabulous and your placing is perfect. I know Clarity stamps are easier to line up but even so I still struggle to line things up especially on a one layer card. The label effect you have achieved on the second card is so neat and the colour is beautiful.

Both are beautiful cards and I agree with you and others that the thank you card is my favourite. However I love the sentiment on the second card! Cards that look simple are so often harder to create than fussy ones! That's why I LOVE your work...gold medal all the time!

Hi Gay

That stamp is gorgeous and you have used it brilliantly.

I love both cards .. .. but if was forced to choose one .. .. then I would go for the first.

I hope you are having a good week.

Two beautiful cards. I favour the first one, but I think the second one the masking is too abrupt - just my opinion ;)

I believe that first one has my vote as favorite too. Your cards are always so creative....and you have the coolest stamps!

Are we on the same wavelength or not?
I toyed with idea of using this tall card shape (used to use it exclusively) and I stamped out the very same sentiment to see if it worked for me too. I love the design of both cards. Barbara would approve too!

These are both really lovely but I agree with the majority on the first one being my favourite. It really is stunning in its simplicity and those two stamps work together perfectly. You are a clever lady!
