Simplicity OLW15 challenge
Rules;
Rules;
1. A one-layer card is defined as a single piece of cardstock folded in half.
2. Your card must use color in an unexpected way. Remember to keep embellishments to a minimum.
I found this one a big challenge, first I couldn't decide which stamp to use, then colour became a real issue. If the stamp was good the colour wasn't and vice versa, ooh err!!
When I finally decided it all came together quite quickly, I think it was Friday 13th, that's the problem, even the Happy Christmas is wonky!
I've used clear embossing on the VersaColor multi coloured ink pad, this one's called lollipop, like that name!
The stamp is by Elusive images
Then, when I got up this morning, I decided to go for a different image altogether and made this.................>
Of course, I can see it now, this just isn't C.A.S , she giggled:) I think it was a reaction from all that restraint!!!!
I have used a much loved Santa collage from Rubber Stampede, Non-Sequitor reindeer stamp and I can't find either of them where I bought them. So I fear they are unavailable, sorry:{
I have found the Penny Black sentiment here
Have a wonderful weekend:)

I'm not sure I could have done this challenge, but you have done it beautifully, I love the bottom one the bestist(good education) hope you have recovered from being nan, have a great weekend love chris xx
Love the lollipop name too..so quirky..how do they come up with those names!! I love the Santa image..would love to own it, but sadly Christmas is not so big in my part of the world!!!
I babysat my BFF's one year girl and 2 hours later I was exhausted...I still don't have any of my own..this one is enough to tire me!! :)
Feel better soon! but then this is a good kind of exhaustion!!
HAHA, hunky dory. I haven't heard that phrase in ages! Both Christmas cards in rainbow colours are beautiful. I really love the second card with St. Nick and the reindeer verse! Remember, it's still CAS if it's easy to replicate. :D
This is not the easiest of challenges but you have designed two lovely cards. Great stamping. Annette x
Both cards are totally gorgeous, I have the Santa image - it's lovely, would like to get hold of that sentiment stamp too.
Hope you're fully recovered

Hi there - hope you have now fully recovered from all of your "Nan" activities!!
Your two creations are gorgeous and I too love the second one best. That Santa image is so cool alongside your reindeer names.
Enjoy what remains of your Sunday.
Love Jules xx
love these, sometimes simple can be stunning and you certainly achieved that!
I love what you did with both these cards, that challenge would have had me totally stumped, the way you used the graduating colours - fab.
I know what you mean about the recovery period. I am babysitting 1 year old GS in two weeks, every time he looks at me his bottom lip wobbles, then comes the full blown scream....
big hugs
En x
Both cards are amazing, I love your choice of colours, they are definitely different but works extremely well.
a couple of fabulous festive cards with gorgeous images on both. I love the graduated colours adding just enough interest.
hugs, annie x
I love them both sweetie not what you would expect but i like them lots, hugs pops x
That WAS a tough one!! We are so used to being able to put whatever we want on, arnt we!
I like them both, I like the variagated colours on the first and I think everyone likes Old Nick!!

Hi, It's only me, thanks for your comments, thanks also for letting me know where to get the stamp from, may order it soon. Just treated my self to a coulpe of Tildas and some crackle paint, also really can't wait for new LOTV iamges, love the little school girl one - never have enough pennies;
Hope you are well, Big HUGZ Fleur xXx
I love them both! The bottom one is beautiful and still CAS IMO...just a bit less white space, that's all!
Both are such pretty cards! And, just think! You have 2 fewer holiday cards to make!
Btw, thanks for visiting my blog!
Beautiful inking on these! I agree it was a tough challenge. So tough I didn't even get a card made in time! Lovely cards, though.
