Masculine, here I come.....again:0)

Lets face it everyone, I really struggle when it comes to cards for men, I've said it before and guess I'll be mentioning it again before the year's out. So I've gone headlong into black, it's supposed to be quite masculine, isn't it?

This is for my son's birthday and I think I quite like it. The black shiny material was a padded bag that I got in the post and loved the texture and gloss, since I photographed it I have run around the shape with black pen  as the edge was a little ragged. Random stamping on the background is truly random because I feel sometimes it can look contrived with a large stamp like this one. No embellishments, no fuss, I'll let you know how it goes down:0)

Edited;
Yes! he said he liked it, success!

The stamp is Stampin up Engraved Greetings, stamped onto Papermania recycled card.
Embossed and cut out using a Spellbinders Label Die number 4

Just noticed it's snowing ATM, nooooo mad, mad, mad, go away white stuff.
Have a lovely day everyone :0) xxx

A very classy masculine card, I love the use of black, ideal for male cards and great for backgrounds too. I should think so too, who would not like it. Happy New Year, Tracy Evans x

A truly classy male card MC - love the HB stamp. Pleased to hear that your son approved (well why wouldn't he - it's fabulous)?!! I'm hopeless at male card ideas, and I'm almost ashamed to admit that I bought a card for hubby's 70th last week!!
Hope your snow hasn't settled. We had an earth tremor earlier tonight - the floor really shook - ooooh I don't like it!
Love and hugs, Sylvia xxx

Happy New Year, MC! WOW, this card is fabulous! I love it to bits. The way you reused the black padding is genius and I love the background you created using that HB greeting! Please send some snow our way. It's still icky and brown here.
