A Paper Artsy card

It's another Craft Barn Saturday here on Crafty Musings, welcome. I'm pleased to see you :0) This week has been all about PaperArtsy at the Craft Barn Blog and so I made a card :0)

Simply stamped onto good quality card, before I stamped I gently swiped the stalk to make a highlight. I hope this makes it a little more lifelike. The die was cut out and I stamped the image later, the flower was stamped in StaZon in three colours onto vellum. I mounted the topper onto a splash of deep grass green, I really enjoyed making this card. Thank you for looking in, I hope your Saturday is a very good one, Gay xxx

This is what I used

PaperArsty Stamps Mini 67
Hot Picks 1005 and the postmark filmstrip die that co-ordinates.
StazOn inks: Olive Green, Vibrant Violet and Ultramarine

Artsy and lovely, Gay! What a great idea to swipe the stem. It does give it a more realistic look! Love the pretty flower on the vellum too.

Really love this Gay (nothing new there then as I always love your cards, lol)! Swiping the stem makes such a huge difference so thanks for sharing that little tip and the soft colours in the slide mailer are so pretty. Set against that vibrant green the whole thing makes for a stunning, elegant card.
