Hi all, I'm having a very lazy day, really should be getting ready for visitors staying this week, it'll be a big rush now:-(
Never mind, I wanted to make a card, y'know what it's like?
It didn't turn out quite how I imagined..............
Now I have to go and be good for a while, get that hoover going, much rather stay and play!
I used, LOTV stamp, Penny Black sentiment, Basic grey papers, Artoz flowers.

Hi all, I've had problems in the past, making cards for men, in fact my OH thinks that any of my cards would be good for men except the ones I actually make for men, go figure?Anyhoo I have attempted again to make a card for a chap, any luck?............. I don't know, what d'you think?

Yes I know it's not straight, I meant it to be off at an angle. Sort of relaxed, LOL

Stamps from, Banana Frog, Hobby art and papers from Basic Grey, lime Ricky and also MmE Wild Asparagus , I used the Cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder.

I have to admit to having a very soft spot for Penny Black images they are really very cute and always great quality.
I have used some of the papers that I won in blog candy from MJM- the art tarta very clever lady..... anyway in this lovely bundle were papers from Glitz and ribbons, colours that I have never used together before but I love them. So Thank you Michelle xx

Basic Grey Challenge and LOTV challenge.

My entry for the Basic Grey challenge, Punch it!............ and for LOTV sketch by Bev

two pics one taken at 1am (darker one) and one taken this morning, what a difference the lighting makes

 I have used;
Fiskars border punch (Lace) LOTV stamps, Basic grey papers (Kioshi), sentiment by HOTP, Bazzil flowers and Copic ciao to colour

Wednesday 19 May 2010

I have been playing with these lovely LOTV stamps again today, shrinking them seems the best option for me at the moment, I think they are a bit large for the kind of cards that are doing it for me!! I didn't bother with the copics, on shrink plastic it's just too hard to stay away from the stamped image. So I used my Sakura stardust pens, watered down they are just right for colour intensity and a little sparkle.

It was watching Kay Carley on C&C that gave me that little gem, Thank you Kay!

The papers are from Papermania, the Honey and Hugs range, they are lovely and fresh colour combinations.

I have been playing with shrink plastic and together with these very cute stamps from Lily of the Valley I had a whale of a time, such good fun!! I found using copic ciaos was a challenge but they gave good coverage, if I was very careful near the stamped image. These babies now have very strange skin tones, I need to practice !!!!!!!'s the baby boy version:-)

Two posts on the same day, I must be losing it , I hear you say, you could be right but I'm not sure where this picture went I uploaded 2 photos originally and this went off into cyberland. So here it is again!

I have a lot to learn about blogging I think;-)

The stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and I love it's cheeky nature (it's not only coffee I like,  you see!). What better way to celebrate?
I recently bought some florists ribbon, fell in love with the colour and texture, it reflects light in very interesting ways. Yes,  even showing up how I wasn't very careful sticking it down;-(
The coloured paper is Basic Grey, Lime Ricky,  totally yummy colours!

Inspired? Oh yes!!

Hello, it's great to be back, making cards and sharing. Had some lovely comments, how lucky am I? Thank you Kay and Emily.
These stamps are  from the master, Tim Holtz,  his stamps are amazing, that's all I've used I needed nothing else but I need to play a bit more to see what else I can come up with, loads of fun there!!
