Simplicity One Layer Wednesday17

Hi there,
Susan over at Simplicity has challenged us to use a border stamp this week, I really enjoy her challenges they never fail to make me think :}
Rules for OLW17
1. A one-layer card is defined as a single piece of cardstock folded in half.

2. Use a border stamp (or, if you don't have a border stamp, either create one by repeating a small stamp or consider this an excuse to go buy one!) Remember to keep embellishments to a minimum.

The border stamp is Basic Grey and the sentiment from Hobby Art.

Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine? Wherever you are,  have a lovely day:D xx

This is such a strikingly gorgeous card! LOVE that BG stamp! Btw, I couldn't get to your blog from the Mr. Linky widget...you might want to check that out. Would hate that others couldn't get to your blog to see a closeup of this beautiful card!

What an absolutely gorgeous card...LOVE IT!! So classy.

I haven't seen this challenge site before, looks a really good one to clear away all the cobwebs by and make something clean and simple for.

This is stunning! I've never seen such a fantastically elaborate border. You used it in such a great CAS way, too! Please email me at artsy_em at hotmail dot com. Thanks so much!

Superb card - love it!! It really works and yet it's so simple but simple takes a lot of designing - you obviously have the knack.

This is absolutely perfect. Not like my entry where I felt the compulsion to add ribbon in order to make it complete. This needs nothing else.

I just popped over from Netty's blog.. The name of your blog caught my eye.. I just had to hop over..

What a pretty card this is.. it would be really hard to do just one layer.. But this looks great! I have enjoyed my visit and if you don't mind I would love to come back and look at your creation...
