Metal and Acetate? Yes please!

Hi folks, me again:0) Some cards for the Craft Barn's metal and acetate focus this week. More inspiration from my team mates on the BLOG
Acetate is a bit of a challenge to photograph:0)
A DL card from a sheet of 12 x 12 acetate, using Tim Holtz Dies and EF and copics to colour
and another acetate card, TH dies and EF again this time with KatzKraft stamps, love the little angel writing he's cute!

You should be able to make the pics bigger if you click on them.

The back was difficult because everything was visible,  I covered the brads with card candy so that they matched.

Then I made a card with the KatzeKraft stamps and metal, I loved making this card!!!

The little guy reading is an absoloute delight and I love the sentiment, it's just so right!

Update; I just noticed on Hotmail it's National Libraries day, lucky coincidence :0)
I hope you liked my cards, more details on the Craft Barn Blog and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday, Gay x

WOW Gay . . . these are fantastic. I bet they're even better IRL as I know acetate cards are difficult to take photo's of.

Have a great weekend. Keep warm xxx

You've done a great job there - acetate is so difficult to work with and, as you say, to photograph. Love the little card with the books, though - absolutely fab image and beautifully done x

These are fab Gay, acetate is not something I would normally reach for when card making. My favourite 'bits' are the cherub in the frame (and that's a great tip about using the candy) and that embossed book. Have a lovely weekend. xx

These are just brilliant Gay.... Acetate is such a tricky material to work with. Love the metallic book cover, fab cards and not a fingerprint in sight :0)

What can I say you are a genius, love them all and know how difficult those acetate ones are to make never mind photograph, if I had to choose a favourite it would be the last one, I just adore the image and the metal book is sensational.
