A Mini Masterpiece

Hi folks, I hope that you're having a great weekend? I'm getting myself back on course after the mammoth washing and ironing spree that follows holidays, fun fun fun!!

Heather is hosting the OLW 88 challenge this week and has asked us to produce a mini masterpiece, no more than 2inches square in size,  right up my street, Yippee!! I made some cards

This one uses Hobbycraft stamps with SU sentiments, masked and inked with distress inks, coloured with copics.

This is a small cityscape from Kars and an SU sentiment again, on both these cards I highlighted certain areas with the glitter gel pen. For sunshine on the boat and the lights of the buildings on the other

This last card is a stamp that I bought from Rubbadubbadoo, out of business now :[ A stamp by Cherry pie for the crackle and again copics for colour. This was a great theme for a challenge with lots of scope and I thoroughly enjoyed it :0) Thanks Heather xxx

There is a challenge going on over at the Craft Barn, following our week of Faux finishes, we are inviting you to have a go

Welcome back to the land of blog Gay!! I read your other Post just now, and your holiday sounds fab. (You look very elegant too)!
You have certainly been busy since you came home - what with all that washing and ironing, and soooooo many gorgeous cards! I love all these mini images, but the centre one is my favourite, mainly because of the gorgeous colours.
Have a happy week my friend - Sylvia xx

These are all fabulous Gay. I think I like the little cityscape best but the slant of the sailboat shape and the colour scheme of the love card are really appealing too.

Right up your street Gay and boy does it show - these are absolutely stunning! I love the way you twisted your square on the first card and I adore the surprise of green and the birds flying off the edge. Your other square masterpiece comes a very close second for me! Vicky x
