A little piercing for LIM and Rudolph day

Hello there my friends welcome,
I've had a little time to play and I've made some cards, three for Sarn's Rudolph day Challenge and incorporated one for LIM which is piercing or pricking! I've had the best fun I've had for ages, check it out.......

Here is a larger pic to show the pricking and another to show how Santa is supported off the card, he is jumping around full of the joys of spring. He knows he is on hols until December and although it's cold he is well equipped, that beard is wonderful insulation LOL The paper piercing is laborious but oddly therapeutic, in fact I enjoyed it very much! Thanks Chrissie and Jen!

This Christmas stocking was great for colouring in and I smothered it in glitter, yum! The stamp is Impression Obsession from last year, in fact Santa is also IO I bought mine at the Craft Barn

The card below is my final card for Rudolph day, it is a Penny Black stamp, Christmas Star! I stamped and embossed in gold detail powder. After bleaching the inside of the image I painted with H20s and glazed with Diamond glaze. Just before the glaze dried I sprinkled some mica powder into it but I think it went a bit blobby so the next time I will have to do it another way!

So that's what happens here when I have a bit of spare time. It's so cold I hardly want to leave the house!!
Thank you so much for stopping by , hugs Gay x

What a fabulous array of cards Gay! I love the pierced border on your jumping santa card and what a cunning way to support him too! The stocking is beautifully coloured and glittered too and I love the drama of the poinsettia. It's great to catch up with you and to hear that your health is improving. Wishing you and yours all the best. Vicky x

Love these, all of them, Gay. Even though Christmas is long gone, your jolly Santa really made me smile on such a grey cold day. The long stocking is gorgeous and I adore your sparkly poinsettia. You'll have a good start on next year at this rate.
Keep warm

Hi Gay, All three of your cards are beautiful. Santa is cool and the paper piercing awesome (I have lots of stencils for this, should be making something for the LIM challenge). I also have the IO & PB stamps that you used, we share some same tastes ! The 2nd has such beautiful colours and the 3rd so elegant & rich on the black. Love your cards. Take care, Shirleyx

I recognize these IO stamps. Got these at a show, not used yet! Yours will inspire me to hunt them out! Really pretty cards, but my fav is the last one. It is simply stunning. I'm amazed at the H20's (I'm challenged with those things! but I love the look). Wouldn't have thought to combine with bleaching, but this is a beautiful effect. TFS

WOW Gay ... Fabulous cards. Love the piercing on the Santa; it's a perfect touch. The stocking is a dream; I love the coloring and the glitter!! I have that IO stamp and now I'm inspired to pull it out and give it another try. The PB on black with the H2Os is gorgeous. I have not ever tried H2Os but that beauty will have me looking into the medium. Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful creations. As always, your works are lovely and inspiring.

Thank you,
Carole
